Wisconsin Bank & Trust: Changing the face of banking through technology

October 22, 2020 – Madison, WI – Wisconsin Bank & Trust (WBT) is leading innovation among financial institutions in Wisconsin with the launch of a video banking platform, expanding its suite of digital solutions designed to make banking easier and more accessible for customers.

Recognizing the challenges that social distancing and COVID-19 have created for consumers, WBT moved quickly to provide the same kind of personalized banking services one would expect to receive in a branch location, now available online and from the comfort of home or wherever customers prefer to be served.

“Today’s marketplace demands agility and the ability to innovate and adapt quickly. We’re committed to putting our customers’ needs first, and to delivering effective, efficient and seamless service – in the ways in which our customers prefer,” said Brent Giles, President & CEO of Wisconsin Bank & Trust.  “We are excited about the changes we have implemented and to offer the best options for our customers in this new environment.”

In 2020, WBT has rolled out several new digital banking services including:

·         Industry-leading video banking options that allow customers to transact business, open accounts, and apply for loans with a live banker via video.

·         Online scheduling for video appointments, with potential to expand to in-person and phone appointments as conditions allow in the future.

·         Digital Wallets featuring Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay that allow customers to make secure, contactless purchases with their mobile device.

·         New, improved, state-of-the-art ATMs with HD screens and envelope-free deposits, making it easier and safer for customers to complete socially distanced transactions.

“We know more and more customers are preferring to bank virtually. There is more work to do across our industry, but we’re committed to transforming the banking experience, taking a customer-first, innovation-oriented approach,” said Kevin Karrels, EVP and Head of Consumer Banking for Heartland Financial USA, Inc.
