Moritz’s nomination stated: “Lyle is dedicated to doing a great job of maintaining the campus. He is relied upon for many highly important tasks that require attention to detail and reliability. Lyle is a great asset to our customers. They can rest assured that when Lyle is on task it will be done correctly and with great professionalism. He is also a great mentor for the rest of the technicians in the department. He is always willing to drop what he is doing, if he can, and help and answer questions.”

Each winner receives a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout travel mug and a UW-Stout blanket.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate university staff members who demonstrate a commitment to excellence and the university community.

The award, in its 15th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
