Neville Public Museum: 75th Art Annual juried exhibition now open

Green Bay, WI—October 29, 2020—The 75th Art Annual exhibit is an all-media, juried
exhibition of current artworks produced by artists living in the counties of Northeastern
Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. A total of 54 artworks by 50 artists were
chosen by juror Annemarie Sawkins (Independent Curator and Art Consultant).

This juried art exhibition began in 1942 during the height of World War II. For three-
quarters of a century, many of this region’s most celebrated and talented artists have exhibited their work as part of this tradition.

Several of the selected works in the 75th Art Annual speak to the societal challenges of
the past year; from a global pandemic to social injustice.

We are pleased to announce:
• 1st Place is awarded to Christine Style (Green Bay) for her woodcut print with
Chine Collë entitled “Meme Predicament”
• 2nd Place is awarded to Carol Irving (Escanaba) for her fiber art piece entitled
“B&W Turquoise Passage”
• 3rd Place is awarded to Jon Wos (Oshkosh) for his pastel and watercolor entitled
