Janesville, WI, October 22, 2020: Blain’s Farm & Fleet is honored to announce that their Holland, Michigan location was selected as a winner in the “Best of Retail” category for the Varco Pruden Builder’s 2020 Hall of Fame. Each year this Hall of Fame recognizes top projects across the United States and Canada that display innovation and excellence. Winning projects, like the Blain’s Farm & Fleet Holland location, stand above their peers through partnerships with great companies like 1848 Construction, as well as their use of Varco Pruden building systems and products to create buildings with exceptional construction, efficient design, and effective end use.
“Blain’s Farm & Fleet is thrilled our Holland store has been recognized for its outstanding architectural attributes,” says Jane Blain Gilbertson, Owner and President of Blain’s Farm & Fleet. “We are honored to serve the people of Holland and provide them not only the best customer experience, but also a store that has an innovative design and advanced engineering.”
Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Holland, Michigan opened in October of 2019. Located at 3940 W. Shore Drive with 106,000 square feet, this building contains special features like an automotive service center and drive-thru area where customers can purchase items without leaving their vehicle. The Modern General Store offers a variety of services and merchandise including clothing, food, agricultural tools, building tools, hardware, children’s toys, paint, sporting goods, pet supplies, kitchenware, and automotive products, just to name a few. The Holland store was the retailer’s fourth location in Michigan, and they have recently opened a fifth location in Standale.
Across North America, Varco Pruden Buildings utilizes advanced solutions to provide pre-engineered steel building systems to thousands of authorized, independent builders for commercial and industrial applications. At the annual event, a panel of judges, from both the construction industry and top editors from construction media outlets, selects winners for the Varco Pruden Hall of Fame. The 2020 Varco Pruden Buildings Hall of Fame groups projects into “best of” categories including churches, government, offices, recreation, and schools, etc. Winning projects receive a plaque with an engraved plate describing the project and a photo of the structure.
