Hoffman completing school, senior living, and church renovations
(Appleton, Wis.) – Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. has partnered with local organizations on senior living, school, and church renovation projects in the area.
The project at Woodside Senior Communities in Ashwaubenon involves renovation of their two independent living Woodside Oaks apartment buildings as well as remodeling of their three assisted living Woodside Manor buildings.
“Similar to the other significant projects we partnered with Woodside on in recent years, the goal was to increase the curb appeal of their facilities and create more homelike and welcoming environments while focusing on resident safety and operations,” said Mark Robbins, senior project architect at Hoffman. Hoffman designed and managed the construction of Woodside’s $13 million campus repositioning project that was completed in 2015.
Hoffman also continues to work closely with the Appleton Area School District on a variety of improvement projects, including:
A secure entrance at Horizons Elementary School
Coordination of window replacement at Huntley Elementary School
Renovation of the Family & Consumer Sciences areas at Wilson Middle School
Kitchen renovation at Appleton East High School
Hoffman is also completing renovations at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Combined Locks. The interior renovations include creation of a large multi-purpose room, the addition of a coffee bar and gathering space, upgrades to the HVAC and electrical systems, expansion of the interior space, and updating of finishes throughout the Narthex.
