(Appleton, WI) – GLK Foods, LLC—the global leader in kraut production—has moved into its new corporate office in Appleton. Construction of the 8,800 square foot building on North Lightning Drive has been completed by Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, which also designed the facility.


The $1.8 million building, which includes all the typical amenities, such as offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and kitchenette, also houses a walk-in cooler for product storage and testing as well as a distinctive facility feature. “A unique design element that was brought into the GLK building is the 1,200 square feet of reclaimed lumber taken from aged vats and repurposed into ceiling accents in the lobby and main conference room,” said Matt McGregor, Hoffman project manager.

Construction of the new GLK Foods headquarters began in September 2017.
