Transportation and logistics provider ranked as one of the top 500 large companies in the nation

GREEN BAY, Wis. (June 19, 2017) — It’s been estimated that the average person spends 90,000 hours at work over his or her lifetime. With such an intensive time commitment spent outside the home, it’s important to find an employer that makes the job enjoyable – and Schneider, one of the nation’s largest transportation and logistics providers, has done just that. Forbes compiled a definitive list of the best employers in America, with Schneider landing on its list of top 500 large companies.

To determine who made the list, 30,000 American workers were surveyed about their employers. Among other questions, the survey asked how likely a person was to recommend his or her organization to friends or family on a scale of zero to 10. The results of that question were the most important factor in deciding a company’s rank on the list. In total, 25 industries were represented in the survey, with Schneider naturally placed in transportation and logistics.

“It’s our valued associates who make Schneider such a great place to work, and we’re honored to be recognized by Forbes,” said Steve Matheys, Schneider’s EVP and chief administrative officer.
