Monroe, WI: Blain’s Farm & Fleet of Monroe is pleased to announce that they will be donating toys to local homeless shelter, Family Promise of Green County, in the name of Bryson Powell and his inspiring act of kindness. Family Promise along with Bryson Powell will be visiting the Monroe Farm & Fleet on March 10th at 2 pm to receive the donation.
“When we heard about Bryson Powell’s selfless donation of his birthday money to the homeless families of Monroe, we knew we had to carry on the importance of giving by donating toys in Bryson’s name to the same organization,” says Cody McDuffy, Store Manager of Blains Farm & Fleet of Monroe.
“Kindness is contagious, and Bryson has set an amazing example for our community to pay it forward and help one another.”
Family Promise works with homeless families to tailor individualized plans to help them take the necessary steps toward lasting independence. Rotational Emergency Housing, 3 Transitional Housing Apartments, an After-Care Program to assist families in their transition to independent housing, a, Mentoring Program, Homelessness Prevention Services, and Monthly Skill Building Workshops are just a few of their offerings.
Blain’s Farm and Fleet is dedicated to giving back to the community all year round through the Bert and Claude Blain Memorial Scholarships, the American Heart Association, the Kids Helping Kids program, FFA programs, 4-H Sponsorships and various other local organizations.
