Madison International Trade Association: Registration open for January event – 2018 Economic Forecast: A Global Perspective

Madison, WI – The Madison International Trade Association (MITA) will start the new calendar year by hosting its 9th Annual Global Forecast Conference on January 9th on “2018 Economic Forecast: A Global Perspective”. The luncheon program begins at 10:30 a.m. and will takes place at the Fluno Center for Executive Education located at 601 University Ave., Madison, WI.

MITA welcomes two distinguished speakers to provide an update on the worldwide economic projections for 2018.
Keynote speaker Michael Gregory is the Deputy Chief Economist & Head of U.S. Economics with BMO Capital Markets in Toronto. Gregory has held numerous positions both in Canada and the United States working in foreign exchange, money market research, fixed income, and regulatory restructuring groups for RBC and then Lehman Brothers before joining BMO Harris in 2004. Gregory, with his reserve of knowledge in the field of United States’ macro- and microeconomic trends, will share his financial forecasts for the coming year

Following Mr. Gregory will be Mr. Antonio Mello, Academic Director of the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Mello’s concentration in finance gives him ample resources to draw from as he shares his perspective on corporate finance and international trade trends in 2018.

The “early bird” registration fee is $45 for Members and $60 for Non-Members until December 29th. The regular rate of $55 for Members and $70 for Non-Members applies thereafter.
