Steve Schill Joins Johnson Insurance as Senior Vice President, Commercial Insurance

MILWAUKEE, WI. August 21, 2017. Joanne Szymaszek, President of Johnson Insurance Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Schill as Senior Vice President, Commercial Insurance. Schill will have offices in downtown Milwaukee and Madison and will spend time in each region companywide leading a team of over 40 licensed sales professionals to provide personalized insurance solutions to commercial clients.

Schill began his career at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point, Wisconsin 30 years ago. Most recently, Schill served as Senior Vice President and Practice Leader with Cottingham Insurance in Iowa. Additionally, Steve previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Haake Companies and as Regional Underwriting Executive at Crum & Forster in Kansas. His expertise lies in Property and Casualty insurance in addition to understanding risk perspective from both a company and carrier standpoint.

A resident of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Schill graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. Schill is active in local charities and community organizations as a former Board member of the Boy Scouts of America and an active participant with United Way. Additionally, he looks forward to becoming active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Milwaukee.
