Cornerstone Development: Launches new beginnings for Sussex Condominium neighborhood

Sussex, WI – It’s been a long time coming for the homeowners living in The Villas at Maplewood Terrace in downtown Sussex. The much anticipated condominium neighborhood in the heart of the city once endured trying times when the original developer passed away, stalling the finish of the community and putting it into question.

However, the disappointment will turn to excitement on Thursday November 9, 2017, when Cornerstone Development of SE WI presents a Grand Opening celebration in the new Cypress Model from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Villas at Maplewood Terrace are located at N63 W23839 Terrace Drive, right across the street from the new Sussex Civic Center on Main Street. The Sussex Chamber of Commerce will conduct a special ribbon cutting ceremony followed by remarks from invited civic dignitaries. Lunch and refreshments will also be served.

“We are extremely proud and excited about being able to resurrect this wonderful condominium community in the heart of Sussex,” said John Wahlen, owner of Cornerstone Development of SE Wisconsin. “The beauty of this location is that there are seven different styles that we can build. So there are all kinds of very interesting homes to be built in a very convenient locale. The model being opened will give people a good feel for what it’s like. This model will back up to the Bugline Trail, as many of our homes do, and it will really be sharply tied to the existing homes, which are simply charming.”

At Maplewood, the floorplans range 1,400 up to over 1,900 square feet. Pricing at The Villas at Maplewood Terrace ranges from the $299,999 to the mid-$300,000’s, with many, many desirable features.

“People should realize that what’s very different about this particular living opportunity is that most of these homes are stand-alone,” added Wahlen. “There are only two duplexes and the rest are all stand-alone homes where people can have their own four walls separate from the neighbor next door.”
