Flowers Family Foundation Award includes $75K charitable donation

Madison – As a way to celebrate and promote free enterprise in the Badger State, the Stoughton-based Flowers Family Foundation will present the third annual Wisconsin Business Achievement Award at the State of Wisconsin Business Luncheon, produced by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce Foundation, on October 18.

The award, which includes a $75,000 donation to a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization of the winner’s choosing, will honor an individual or entity that has had a positive impact on the Wisconsin economy.

“The winner can be an individual, partnership, corporation, organization or educational institution” said Rockne “Rock” Flowers. “This nonpartisan, non-political award is meant to highlight the great things benefiting the economy in areas of exports, inventions, developing technology or product innovation.”

The winner will be chosen by a selection panel consisting of WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer, University of Wisconsin System President Regina Millner, and Collin Levy of The Wall Street Journal.
