The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) is sending out its CALL FOR ENTRIES for the 2016 Community Economic Development Awards.

This second annual award program gives communities an opportunity to recognize individuals, projects and organizations that are making significant contributions to the economy of Wisconsin. Award winners will be recognized at an awards presentation on September 14, 2016, at The Edge Water Hotel in Madison.

WEDA is the driving force behind a strong push for economic development in Wisconsin. The association strives to improve effectiveness of individuals involved in the practice of economic development throughout the state. It supports this mission by encouraging cooperation between individuals, private sector industry and government agencies; exchanging information between those entities; and promoting professional skills in Wisconsin communities. WEDA boasts a membership of more than 400 individuals statewide.
