ADDS CLASS ACTION LITIGATION TEAM MILWAUKEE – April 7, 2016 – The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. (WHD) is pleased to announce that it has added a Class Action Litigation Team to its more than 50 industry and specialty areas. This team has a long track record of success in defending high stakes class action lawsuits, using innovative strategies specific to each case to defeat class certification or otherwise minimize client exposure.

Attorneys Michael Hayes and Jonathan Ledsky co-lead the multidisciplinary team, which has handled class actions in state and federal courts across the country. The types of class action suits they have litigated include: consumer financial services, consumer fraud, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), food and beverage, labor and employment, and securities fraud.

Hayes is a principal in WHD’s Chicago office. He is a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience litigating a broad range of complex civil and criminal matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts and before regulatory agencies. Hayes received his B.A. from Bates College, and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Ledsky is a principal in WHD’s Chicago office where he concentrates his practice in consumer financial services litigation and complex business litigation. Ledsky received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

“The decision to add this practice area to our already exceptional list of teams is driven by WHD’s desire to better serve our clients,” said WHD’s Chief Executive Paul Eberle. “By adding this team, we are better able to leverage the experience and expertise of our attorneys to help our clients avoid the potentially ruinous consequences of the aggregation of claims threatened by the filing of class action suits.”
