CHICAGO, Ill. (March, 9, 2016) – U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) has named Christine Paulsen the
director of sales for the company’s agent channel in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Paulsen is
responsible for overseeing the company’s agent owners and associates to help ensure
customers are equipped with wireless solutions that can simplify and enhance their life or
business.
Paulsen has 16 years of wireless leadership experience, with more than 20 years of experience
in the field. Prior to this promotion, she served as the director of national retail field sales, which
involved coordination with 3rd party, large-scale retailers such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Dollar
General, Amazon and more. She also served as the director of sales for company-owned stores
in Nebraska and Iowa.

record of success in the wireless industry,” said Shelley Boersma, U.S. Cellular’s vice president

Paulsen is the mother of four and actively involved in her community. She volunteers her time
with Junior Achievement, U.S. Cellular’s Women in Action Affinity Network Group as well as
sitting on the board of directors for the Veteran Associates Leading Organizational Results
nonprofit. She and her family will relocate to Wisconsin for this position.
