“Celebrate Mom! Love.Gift.Repeat” Offers Days-of-Giving Sweepstakes April 19 Through May 8

MILWAUKEE—April 19, 2016–Today, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT), together with HelloWorld, Inc., the leading provider of marketing solutions to the world’s best brands, launched Celebrate Mom! Love. Gift. Repeat, a days-of-giving sweepstakes in honor of Mother’s Day. The campaign, which runs April 19 through May 8, will also benefit March of Dimes, an organization that works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Consumers are encouraged to enter the sweepstakes through the website for any of The Bon-Ton family of stores: Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers. Shoppers who register for the campaign will have the opportunity to instantly win certain prizes each day, as well as a grand prize of all twenty featured prizes, awarded at the end of the campaign. The campaign also offers consumers a Mother’s Day gift-guide, inspired by different lifestyles, such as the mom who “has a new baby” and the mom who “loves to cook,” which eases the gift-giving process for this year’s holiday.

In addition to providing consumers with the chance to win prizes and learn about and shop inspiring gifts for Mother’s Day, The Bon-Ton Stores has partnered with March of Dimes to benefit the organization’s efforts to help mothers and babies. The Bon-Ton Stores has pledged to donate up to 5,000 baby essentials from Carters®, AD Sutton & Sons, and Little Me including clothing, blankets and accessories for local March of Dimes needs.
