US Bank Foundation Grant supports Progress Lakeshore’s Economic Development work
The U.S. Bank Foundation awarded a grant of $25,000 to Progress Lakeshore to support the organization in responding to the closure of the Manitowoc Company facility. “Giving back in the communities where we live and work is one of the ways we put people first at U.S. Bank,” according to Emilee Sutto US Bank Manitowoc Branch Manager
Peter Wills, Executive Director of Progress Lakeshore stated “These funds enable Progress Lakeshore to assist the displaced Manitowoc Company workers with Job fairs to connect to local employers seeking employees. US Bank’s Grant assist’s our goal to retain these highly skilled workers in our community and support the local companies that supply to Manitowoc Company to diversify their client base.”
