Network Health Earns WELCOA Awards

Network Health earns Platinum status and Rappert receives Rising Light award

MENASHA, WI (September 8, 2016) – Network Health, the Wisconsin based health plan, has again received the prestigious Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) and its local affiliate, the Wellness Council of Wisconsin.

Network Health is one of only five companies in Wisconsin awarded with the Platinum ranking, WELCOA’s highest honor. Network Health had previously earned the designation in 2013 and reapplied earlier this year to maintain Platinum status.

“This award is a true reflection of the importance wellness plays in our company’s culture,” said Penny Ransom, Network Health chief administrative officer. “It is a great honor to be recognized as a Platinum winner of the Well Workplace Award. This designation allows us to demonstrate how our brand and culture work together to make us a successful organization.”

Network Health employee Anne Rappert also received recognition from WELCOA. Rappert earned the Rising Light award which honors an individual employee for making a positive, healthy change. After just five months of participating in Network Health’s Healthy Jumpstart program, Rappert lost over 70 pounds and is no longer diabetic. “I am humbled and grateful for the support Network Health and my fellow co-workers have shown,” Rappert said. “Earning the Rising Light Award is an amazing honor.”

The Wellness Council of Wisconsin’s Annual Awards Ceremony will be held at the Hall of Fame at Lambeau Field on September 13. Anne Rappert will attend to accept the Rising Light Award and Chelsy Lingenhag will also attend to accept the Platinum Well Workplace Award on behalf of Network Health.
