JABARI PARKER SUPPORTS SAFE & SOUND’S H.O.M.E. TEAM INITIATIVE THROUGH MAJOR TICKET DONATION
Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker is teaming up with Safe & Sound to help build safer neighborhoods in Milwaukee. This effort, which complements Parker’s “Be In School” attendance initiative with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), includes an additional ticket donation to reward local children who are making a difference in the community.
Part of Parker’s ticket donation will go toward this additional initiative regarding crime prevention. Students who complete Safe & Sound’s “Heroes Operating In Milwaukee Everyday” (H.O.M.E.) program will be eligible to win tickets to a Bucks game against the Lakers (2/22), Pacers (3/2), Raptors (3/15) or Grizzlies (3/17). The H.O.M.E. Team program is one of Safe & Sound’s campaigns focused on youth development and positive alternatives for kids. Safe & Sound will select the winning participants.
“Through my involvement with Safe & Sound’s H.O.M.E. Team initiative, I’m hoping to encourage youth to stay active in the community while maintaining attendance in school, so they can develop into thoughtful young leaders,” Parker said.
In addition to providing tickets to the four Bucks games, Parker will host meet and greet events for the winning students before each contest to honor their participation in the H.O.M.E. Team program and their commitment to building safer neighborhoods in Milwaukee.
