Madison –The Madison International Trade Association is proud to welcome Tris Lahti, Richard J. Beranek, and Michael Gay to its board of directors. The newly elected members will serve three-year term on MITA Board of Directors starting in August. Mr. Lahti has been an owner and the Operations Manager of DLG Naturals, Inc since 2008, and he is responsible for DLG’s IT, logistics, communications, and general operations. Richard J. Beranek is President of Miner Elastomer Product Corporation in Illinois and serves on the board of directors of a 50/50 joint venture company located in Delbruck, Germany. Michael Gay is the Senior Vice President for Economic Development at MadREP. He also annually markets the region to FDI targets at SelectUSA’s conferences in Washington D.C. and participates in in the Dept. of Commerce’s America’s Competitiveness Exchange in Madison and Cordoba, Argentina.

Future Programming “US Trade Policy in an Election Year” will be addressed at MITA’s next monthly luncheon meeting, which will be held onSeptember 13 at the M3 Insurance Conference Room. Two speakers will separate the rhetoric from reality, and discuss the possible consequences for US exporters.
