Lake Express Ferry Earns 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Marks second consecutive year Ferry awarded with distinctionInline image 2
MILWAUKEE (May 27, 2016) – The Lake Express Ferry announced today that it has received the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence for the second consecutive year in recognition of great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.
The Lake Express Ferry is in its 13th season of operation and is the only high-speed ferry operating on Lake Michigan, offering daily service between Milwaukee and Muskegon, Mich. The ferry takes two and a half hours to cross the lake and is able to accommodate cars, motorcycles, bicycles and pets.

Recipients of TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered quality customer experience.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality and quantity of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Lake Express is an eco-friendly ferry, and has been Travel Green Certified by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism since 2008. Four daily trips are available through June 14th and six daily trips from June 15th through September 5th. Service continues through October 24th with four daily trips.
