HEAR Wisconsin: Announces the grand re-opening of its hearing healthcare center & partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin

WEST ALLIS, WI – HEAR Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization that provides critical services to children and adults with hearing loss, celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of its interactive Hearing Healthcare Center and announced its newly formed partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin at a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Dan Devine and the West Allis/West Milwaukee Chamber on Wednesday, October 26th.
 
Richard M. Phalen, Executive Director of HEAR Wisconsin was also on hand to give remarks and unveil the newly renovated clinic.
 
“Our goal at HEAR Wisconsin over the past 90 years has been to provide services and resources for families and individuals with hearing loss,” said Phalen. “The new Hearing Healthcare Center will provide these individuals with expert hearing health services, including professional audiologists helping those experiencing hearing loss explore all the available communication solutions, tailored to fit their lifestyle and budget,” Phalen continued.
 
The new Hearing Healthcare Center features an Assistive Listening Device (ALD) product showroom and audiology clinic, staffed by Medical College of Wisconsin audiologists and technical experts. Visitors can experience the newest available technologies, receive personal consultations and fittings, as well as information on the most effective uses of their equipment.
 
In support of October being National Audiology Awareness Month and National Protect Your Hearing Month, the Hearing Healthcare Center will host an open house throughout the week.
