Frontier Communications accepting applications for more than 75 limited-term positions in Sun Prairie; Career Fair Planned for Tuesday, January 26, at Frontier’s Sun Prairie Office.
Positions include benefits and possibility of full-time employment

Sun Prairie, Wis., Jan. 20, 2016 — Frontier Communications [NASDAQ: FTR] is hiring 75 limited-term customer service and assigner staff at its Sun Prairie facility.

On Tuesday, Jan. 26, Frontier Communications will host a Career Fair at 100 Communications Drive in Sun Prairie, which will feature the opportunity to learn about these positions, as well as submit formal applications and conduct preliminary interviews. The Career Fair will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The duration of these new limited-term assignments will range from six to 36 months, with the possibility of full-time employment. Frontier is offering an hourly rate of $15.50 for 40 hours per week, with eligibility for company benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance after 90 days. Paid time off will also be available after a specified wait period.

Customer service and assigner personnel assist Frontier’s field technicians with programming and assigning facilities for phone and high-speed Internet services. Employees will be recruited into a call-center environment, with schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays — times that Frontier customers typically need a helping hand. Working hours for these new positions will include varied shifts Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. to 10 p.m., and may include Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
