APPLETON, Wis. – Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology (FVHO), northeastern Wisconsin’s cancer care specialists, recently hired Carol Grabowski, M.D., FACRO, who will lead FVHO’s Diagnostic Center, located in its Health & Wellness Center in Appleton, Wisconsin, beginning Jan. 1.
Dr. Grabowski is board-certified in radiation oncology, hospice and palliative medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree, medical and residency training at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Having practiced radiation oncology continuously for more than 20 years, Grabowski has held leadership/medical director, staff and locum tenens positions in the field.
Grabowski has experience and training in radiation care including IMRT, 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (CRT), Electron Beam Treatment, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), respiratory gating and organ motion. As such, she brings great skill in customizing radiation therapy for patients at all stages and with all types of cancer — including lung, breast, prostatic, gastrointestinal, head and neck, brain and gynecologic — as well as non-cancer conditions.
