Edgewood College: Derek Johnson honored with Emerging Leader Award

Madison, Wis. (April 27, 2016) – Edgewood College is pleased to announce the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals has honored Derek Johnson with its Emerging Leader of the Year award. Mr. Johnson is the Director of Freshman Admissions at Edgewood College. The award will be celebrated at the 2016 Emerge Gala, to be held this weekend in Madison.
The awards gala continues a tradition of bringing outstanding young professional leaders together for an evening to celebrate their many contributions to Greater Madison, while raising funds for two deserving local charities, the Urban League of Greater Madison and the DOIT Information Technology Academy.

“Our Young Professionals organization is excited about recognizing an incredible list of honorees this year,” said Corinda Rainey-Moore, President of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals. “Individuals like Derek have worked to improve the quality of life for others in greater Madison, and they contribute richly to our community.”
