DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., an affiliate of the Wisconsin-based law firm DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. (DeWitt), today announced Janet G. Stellpflug was invited to join the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).

The CLM is a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, Corporate Counsel, Litigation and Risk Managers, claims professionals and attorneys. Through education and collaboration, the organization’s goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.

Stellpflug has more than 25 years of experience defending corporate clients in a variety of civil matters. Her practice is focused on complex construction litigation and products liability. She regularly represents contractors, engineers, and products manufacturers in all types of disputes. She is devoted to client-driven results, whether the need is risk prevention, early resolution or trial. Her substantial trial and appellate experience includes serving as first chair for more than 30 jury trials in state and federal court in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Stellpflug earned her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law and her B.A. from Mills College. She is the current President of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She has received numerous awards to include Minnesota Super Lawyers® Top Women 2015, Minnesota Top 100 Super Lawyer® 2009 and she is AV® rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible rating. She is affiliated with numerous associations to include the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota, Associated General Contractors of America, the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance and she is a member of the Civil Trial Certification Board. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (where she Chairs the Products Liability Committee), and she is a member of the National Native American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
