Eric Schmidt Promoted to Vice President

Madison, WI – Eric Schmidt of Middleton, WI has been promoted to Vice President at CG Schmidt. As one of the owners of this family-owned company, Eric was previously serving as the General Manager of CG Schmidt’s Madison office. He relocated to Madison in 2010, when CG Schmidt made the corporate decision to focus resources on growing the Madison market. Under Eric’s leadership,

CG Schmidt’s Madison office experienced extreme growth, even during the downturn in the economy.

Eric has been with the company for 25 years and received his bachelor’s degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed the executive MBA program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He currently serves on the Board for Madison Country Day School, and he is one of the founding sponsors of the Clean Lakes Alliance and continues to serve on the Community Board. Eric is currently overseeing a variety of projects in Madison including the construction the new St. Paul’s University Student Center, the renovation of 316 W Washington Avenue building, and the addition to Wingra School.
