Angelic Bakehouse: Expands Midwest Costco presence and product

ANGELIC BAKEHOUSE EXPANDS COSTCO PRESENCE

46 Midwest Locations Carry Products from Sprouted Grain Leader

MILWAUKEE – Sprouted grain leader Angelic Bakehouse has continuously raised the bar with its sprouted grain subcategory – a proprietary sprouted mash™ ingredient made from pure, non-GMO whole grains – and consumers can’t get enough, as evidenced by the company’s explosion in stores nationwide. A total of 46 Midwest Costco locations now carry Angelic’s sprouted mash bread products. Most of the locations (38) carry Angelic’s best-selling Sprouted Seven-Grain bread, while 24 now carry Angelic’s Premium Wraps.

Launched just over a year ago, the wraps have quickly become one of Angelic’s top-selling products. They embody the “no compromises” Angelic spirit, taking nutrition, convenience and taste to a new level of perfection. Food experts agree – Prevention Magazine editors gave the wraps their official stamp of approval by awarding the product a 2016 Cleanest Packaged Food Award this month. The commitment to clean ingredients is just one component of Angelic’s success.

“Angelic customers have always expected nothing less than Pure Bread Perfection – better ingredients, less processing, superior nutrition, and unbeatable taste and texture,” says Jenny Marino, CEO and president of Angelic Bakehouse. “Our growth in Costco is proof that people want better bread and more. We’re giving it to them.”

The Sprouted Seven-Grain bread and Premium Wraps, which are both Non-GMO Project Verified and certified kosher and Pas Yisroel by OK Kosher Certification, are sold at Costco in a three-loaf and three-pack (18 count) bundle. The bread and wraps are made from Angelic’s proprietary sprouted mash ingredient – which includes whole grains of red wheat berries, oat groats, rye berries, barley, millet and two ancient grains, quinoa and amaranth. With most bread slices containing only 60 calories and wraps only 100, Angelic has finally filled the void for dieters as a healthy whole grain bread option.

Costco’s adoption of Angelic Bakehouse products shows the demand for healthier, better quality bread is growing. Angelic is now available in select Costco locations throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Kansas.
