EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin – November 16, 2015 – WIN today announced that local attorney and former circuit court judge Kristina Bourget has joined the company as its VP of Compliance and Contract Management.

Bourget earned a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1988 and in 1991 earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin. She graduated Cum Laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Kristina has previously held attorney positions at Kelly & Ryberg, S.C., Northern States Power (now part of Xcel Energy), and Bourget Law, S.C., all in Eau Claire. She served as Circuit Court Judge, Branch I, Eau Claire County, from 2013 until earlier this year.

“As our company continues to grow and technology increases in complexity, so do our regulatory, HR, and contractual obligations,” states Scott Hoffmann, WIN CEO. “Kristina has skills and knowledge from previous corporate law experience that will help our business address these obligations.”

Kristina and her husband, Tony, live in Eau Claire and have four children. Through her involvement in several charitable organizations, including the United Way of Greater Eau Claire, Sacred Heart Hospital, and The Community Table, Kristina is an active community supporter and volunteer.

“I’m looking forward to joining the WIN team and facing new challenges in my career,” says Bourget. “It is truly exciting to become part of the telecommunications industry at a time when so many advancements are being made in broadband services and other technologies.”
