ROUGH Puts on 5K to Support Porchlight

MADISON, Wis. (March 10, 2015)— Madison-based ROUGH Sportswear company is hosting a 5K run and walk on Sunday, March 22, with proceeds going to Porchlight, Madison’s Homeless Solution. The ROUGH 5K Run/Walk for Spring Break begins at 10 a.m. with the start and finish lines located in front of the Porter Boat House (680 Babcock Drive) on UW-Madison’s campus. Registration is $25.00 at and includes a ROUGH 5K Run T-shirt and other ROUGH gear and accessories.

As part of the Porchlight fundraising efforts, ROUGH Sportswear is matching donations made to the ROUGH Foundation to support Porchlight and contributing $1 for every new Like it receives on the company’s Facebook page. Giving back to the community is a central part of ROUGH Sportswear’s mission to “Reach Out U Give Help.”

The ROUGH Run for Spring Break is just one part of ROUGH’s fundraising event, which also includes two days motivating others to Get Fit and Get Healthy. On March 15, UW-Madison students are encouraged to “get fit” by attending classes at CYC Fitness and Inner Fire Yoga. There they can pick up a 50% discount flyer good for merchandise at Students are motivated to “get healthy” the following day, March 16, when Fresh Madison Market will be handing out fliers for the run as well as discount codes for ROUGH Sportswear.
