Free-admission promotion and bacon eating contest to
highlight “Patrick Cudahy Day” at world’s largest music
festival
CUDAHY, Wis. — Patrick Cudahy(R) has
the perfect cure for the summertime blues. The Wisconsin-based brand
announced that it is partnering with Summerfest as the “Official Bacon”
of the world’s largest music festival. The partnership also includes a
Country Music Concert Series, a free-admission promotion, and a bacon
eating contest during the 11 day festival.
From June 24-28 and June 30-July 5, 2015, Patrick Cudahy and Summerfest
are bringing Milwaukee, Wis. an action-packed schedule of music.
Wherever you find great country music at Summerfest, FM106.1 and
Patrick Cudahy will be there! The FM106.1 Country Music Series at
Summerfest Presented by Patrick Cudahy is proud to welcome the
following artists: Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band,
Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Thomas Rhett, Frankie Ballard, Dan +
Shay, Billy Currington, Chase Rise, Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Phil

On Friday, July 3, Summerfest will celebrate Patrick Cudahy Day. From
12pm – 3pm, the first 1,500 attendees on Patrick Cudahy Day will
receive free weekday admission by showing an original grocery store
receipt of one pound of Patrick Cudahy Sweet Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon.
Additionally, Patrick Cudahy bacon hats will be given out to the first
5,000 attendees starting at 5:00 p.m. on July 3.
Also on July 3, Patrick Cudahy will crown the fastest bacon eater in
the Midwest. The contest will take place on the Uline Warehouse Stage
at approximately 5:45 and will feature concert-goers vying to eat one
pound of bacon in the fastest time possible.
