Eagle, Wis. – Old World Wisconsin will be hosting a spooktacular Halloween Dinner Theater: “Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe” by Eric Coble during the last three weekends of October through November 1st.

“The Halloween Dinner Theater is a great way for families to enjoy a different side of Old World Wisconsin,” said Dan Freas, director of Old World Wisconsin. “Guests will be treated to a delicious dinner buffet and then follow our mysterious ghost figures across the grounds to the historic and intimate Caldwell Hall for the performance.”

Four of Poe’s most well-known and macabre tales will be adapted for “Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe”. They include, “The Raven,” “The Fall of the House of Usher,” “The Pit and the Pendulum” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Dinner and drama are approximately 2-½ hours long and not recommended for children 10 and under.

Guests should dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and get ready to huddle together for safety from the ghosts and ghouls on the grounds. For more information visit http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/calendar/event/3981/halloween-dinner-theater-nightfall-with-edgar-allan-poe.
