The launch of the statewide initiative draws Sheboygan and Fond du Lac young professional communities into the mix
Milwaukee, WI. March 19, 2015 – NEWaukee proudly announces the continued expansion of YPWeek Wisconsin to include Madison, Green Bay, Kenosha, Wausau, Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Sheboygan. The statewide program will run April 11 to 18 with each city presenting a variety of programs geared toward a young professional audience.
YPWeek Wisconsin is modeled after a program that NEWaukee started in 2012 to provide a weeklong series of events focusing on discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter to young professionals in the area. Since the announcement of YPWeek Wisconsin in February, the initiative has caught steam with two new cities joining the movement.
“YPWeek Wisconsin establishes a framework for existing and emerging young professionals throughout the state to collaborate and brand Wisconsin as a workplace destination for all Millennials,” explains Angela Damiani, president of NEWaukee. “The excitement that is mounting with the new cities coming aboard and the willingness to work towards a single goal proves that folks are hungry and ready for this type of platform. Wisconsin only stands to gain with this united front.”
The diverse lineup of 90+ events uniquely highlights each city and the organizations that currently exist for young professionals to engage in their hometown. To view the full line-up of events, please visit: http://www.ypweek.com. The program highlights include:
