National Construction, Inc.: Groundbreaking ceremony set for library block redevelopment in Platteville

Madison, WI – National Construction, Inc. is scheduled to break ground on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the library block redevelopment project, located in Platteville, WI.

The redevelopment project represents a unique public/private partnership and will bring a new 22,000 square foot commercial space which will house the Platteville Public Library and a 72 room Holiday Inn Express. The project also includes 59 underground parking spaces and 37 surface parking spaces. The project is expected to be completed in the April of 2017.

Miners Development, LLC, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, is the project developer. Other participants in the project include the City of Platteville, Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program, WHEDA, Forward Community Investments, the Platteville Public Library Board, and the Platteville Library Foundation.

The library block redevelopment ground breaking ceremony will take place on Friday, December 11th at 2:30 pm and will be located on Main, Pine, Elm and Chestnut streets in Platteville.
