All attempting donors will receive a Bucks ticket voucher

Join the Milwaukee Bucks and BloodCenter of Wisconsin in an effort to save lives on Monday, March 23, when they host the 15th annual Milwaukee Bucks Blood Drive. The community blood drive will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center (1001 N. Fourth St., Milwaukee). There will be free parking for donors in the structure at Fourth and Highland, as well as complimentary childcare.

To show gratitude toward those giving life-changing contributions, the Bucks will provide all attempting donors with a voucher for two tickets to a future Bucks game. The vouchers can be used for the games played on Saturday, April 4, vs. the Orlando Magic (7:30 p.m. tip) or Wednesday, April 15, vs. the Boston Celtics (7 p.m. tip). In addition, participants will receive a limited edition blood drive T-shirt.

Several Bucks players and coaches are scheduled to visit the drive throughout the day, and members of the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Bucks mascot Bango will also be on hand to meet and greet donors.

Anyone 16 years or older who is in general good health and meets eligibility requirements is encouraged to donate blood, but parental consent is required for 16-year-olds. The entire process takes about an hour and all blood types are needed, but there is an especially great need for O negative donors. Donors should bring a photo ID that includes date of birth. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 1-877-BE-A-HERO (1-877-232-4376) or visit www.bcw.edu/bucks.

Participating sponsors for the blood drive include the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Levy Restaurants, Palermo’s Pizza, Pick ’n Save, Pepsi, Trattoria diCarlo and Midwest Foods.
