Milwaukee, Wis. — HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has hired Brenda Barker as Senior Human Resources Generalist in the Milwaukee office.
Barker will focus on employee relations, recruiting and onboarding for Milwaukee employees. She additionally will coordinate with the firm-wide human resources group to develop human resources projects, processes, policies and procedures that support HGA’s vision across eight national offices.
Her specialties include talent management and development, performance management and development, employee relations matters, employment law matters, compensation, talent acquisition, training and development, and succession planning.
Before joining HGA, Barker was a Human Resources Manager with Godfrey & Kahn, where she provided human resources services for the law firm’s five offices.
She has a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management and Businesses Management from Ottawa University in Brookfield, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
