Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger: Nabs high profile attorneys and announces third office

HRDC Law Nabs High Profile Attorneys & Announces Third Office

February 24, 2015, Milwaukee, WI – Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger (“HRDC”) announced today that one of Wisconsin’s most respected litigators has joined the firm. HRDC also announced it has opened a Madison office, its third location, just one year after starting a Chicago office.

Veteran trial attorney and former Michael Best & Friedrich partner John A. Busch joins HRDC as Of Counsel. During Busch’s 38 years at Michael Best he acted as lead counsel in many significant cases, including more than 20 jury trials, often in “bet the company” cases.

In addition to Busch, HRDC added several other lawyers recently. Joining HRDC as Of Counsel is David Mungenast, one of the first Americans to have studied at a Chinese law school and one of the first to teach law in China. Mungenast strengthens HRDC’s already thriving China practice. The firm also added Marlee Jansen in Milwaukee and Sarah Troupis Ferguson in Madison, two seasoned litigators with significant legal experience, particularly in the area of patent litigation.

Firm Opens Third Office

HRDC is a litigation law firm that tries complex, sophisticated cases for corporate plaintiffs and defendants. It has expanded from 4 founding partners in 2011 to 19 attorneys today and now operates from three locations including its recently opened Madison office. Jessica Mederson leads the HRDC Madison office as managing partner. The firm opened its Chicago office in early 2014.

“We are one of the area’s fastest-growing law practices and in just four years have become one of Milwaukee’s top litigation firms,” said Thomas S. Reynolds II, HRDC’s managing partner. “We’re attracting some of the region’s best and most experienced attorneys who share our vision for providing top-notch litigation services from a lower overhead platform.”

Reynolds expects a busy 2015 and anticipates making additional hires to further develop the firm’s commercial and intellectual property litigation expertise.
