Patrick Gaetjens joins the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation as Project Manager

February 24, 2015 (Eau Claire, WI) – The Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation is happy to welcome Patrick Gaetjens as the new Project Manager.

Gaetjens comes to Eau Claire from New York, where he worked for New York City’s Economic Development Corporation managing tax incentive projects for industrial companies as well as a sales tax exemption program for businesses recovering from Hurricane Sandy. Patrick is excited to be assisting entrepreneurs in starting up their businesses and helping established companies expand.

Patrick brings a variety of private, public and academic experience to the Eau Claire EDC, having worked for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and while completing Master’s degrees in Public Administration and International Relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School. Before graduate school he worked on projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Romania, which has prepared him well for Wisconsin winters.
