DeWitt Ross & Stevens: Expands executive committee – elects two additional members

MADISON|MILWAUKEE|MINNEAPOLIS – DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., and its affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., today announced its partners Robert W. Due and Cari Anne Renlund were elected to serve on its Executive Committee. Due and Renlund will join 7 other executive committee members in assisting with the governance and strategic direction of the firm.

Due is a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office and practices primarily in the area of family law. He has substantial experience in high net worth cases involving complex assets that are difficult to value, such as closely-held business entities, commercial real estate, and intellectual property. He is skilled in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and he has a high success rate both in trying cases to a conclusion and in reaching settlements through mediation. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Carleton College.

Renlund is a partner in DeWitt’s Madison office. She is a government affairs, administrative and regulatory attorney. She previously served as the Chief Legal Counsel for the governor’s top cabinet member and chief administrative agency serving two different governors. As a member of the firms’ Government Relations, Environmental, Business and Litigation Practice Groups, she represents businesses, associations, non-profit groups and other organizations in their dealings with government. Her unique experience includes being both a former government regulator as well as an advocate for clients that are highly regulated by the government. Renlund earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from St. Norbert College.
