Blackhawk Technical College: To sponsor Employability Workshop

JANESVILLE, WI – Blackhawk Technical College will sponsor an Employability Workshop on Friday, March 27, that will emphasize how to set career goals and develop networking strategies.



The event, which runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the North Commons of BTC’s Central Campus, will feature keynote speaker Rick Daniels, the Manager of Student Life at Rock Valley College in Rockford. Daniels will discuss how “Your Dreams are Real’’ in a presentation beginning at 1:00.


Also speaking is Randolph D. Terronez, the assistant to the Rock County Administrator, who will offer tips about careers in public sector management for Rock County.


Daniels, who holds a B.A. in Journalism and a M.A. in Higher Education from UW-Whitewater, will address how to identify your dreams and take action to follow them. Daniels uses personal stories, music and interactive videos to inspire students during his presentation.
