Milwaukee Wis. — Bank Mutual is pleased to announce Jessica B. Akright has
joined its team as a Marketing Product Manager at Bank Mutual’s Corporate Headquarters. She will
be located at 4949 W. Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee. Akright will be responsible for developing and
deploying the marketing strategy for the bank’s Mortgage and Insurance product lines.
Jack Steinbrecker, Vice President and Director of Marketing at Bank Mutual states, “The addition
of a new marketing product manager fulfills a need to support growth in Bank Mutual’s mortgage
and consumer lending and insurance areas. We have recently expanded non-traditional investment
and insurance services in order to meet evolving needs of our customers. We also launched a new
online mortgage origination tool. This platform is designed to enhance our customers’ experiences
with features like applying online for mortgages, checking Bank Mutual’s latest loan rates, and
communicating with a local loan officer.”
Formerly, Jessica Akright worked as Marketing and Events Coordinator for Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. in
the firm’s Milwaukee office. In this role, Akright partnered with attorneys and designated practice
groups to identify and execute various marketing and business development initiatives. Akright holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism with an emphasis in advertising and public relations from
the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
