AT&T INVESTS NEARLY $900 MILLION WITHIN TWO YEARS
TO ENHANCE LOCAL NETWORKS IN WISCONSIN
Investment Expands Access to Nation’s Strongest
4G LTE Signal, AT&T U-verse Services
MILWAUKEE, MARCH 26, 2015 — AT&T* has invested nearly $900 million in its best-in-class wireless and wired networks in Wisconsin between 2012 and 2014, driving a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.
As part of its Project Velocity IP (VIP), an investment plan focused on network enhancement and expansion, AT&T in 2014 made 449 wireless network upgrades in Wisconsin, including 12 new cell sites, 89 wireless broadband upgrades, and 334 new wireless high-speed Internet connections.

Notable Wisconsin network enhancements in 2014 included:
• AT&T extended its LTE footprint in 51 counties throughout Wisconsin;
• New cell sites were added in Cadott, Colgate, Plymouth and Wausau;
• Activation of a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS) network for Camp Randall at the University of Wisconsin; and
• Improvement of AT&T’s DAS network at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
