Wisconsin Bank & Trust Adds Private Banking Services

Madison, WI, January 30, 2014 — Wisconsin Bank & Trust, a Madison-based community bank, announced the formation of a Private Banking division to extend its services to affluent clients. The first employee selected for the new division is Jill Mack, whose 25 years of banking industry experience includes 12 years in private banking.

The bank’s Private Banking services, which launched on January 1, will primarily serve clients with investable assets of $500,000 or greater. Private Bankers provide individualized service that encompasses a client’s whole financial picture. In addition to coordinating deposit accounts, credit facilities and mortgage arrangements, Private Bankers provide a wide range of wealth management services including retirement and estate planning, investment management, and trust and fiduciary services.

“Private banking extends our high-touch, community-banking service model to handle our affluent clients’ diverse financial needs through a single point of contact,” said Kevin Tenpas, President and CEO.

“Many of our existing commercial clients are business owners who have specialized needs with regard to their personal wealth management,” said Tenpas. “We’re also building this new line of business to serve professionals, executives, and others in the community who are looking for a combination of personalized advice, local decision-making, and ‘big bank’ capabilities.”
