May 9, 2014 – Local entrepreneurs Matthew Williams and Eric Reynolds are bringing the nation’s largest Verizon Wireless retail franchisor to Portage, Wisconsin, with the opening of a new Wireless Zone® store in the city. Reynolds left medical school to join Williams in opening the store, believing that it would be a right fit for him professionally and for the Portage community. The two were roommates while attending Morehead State University in Kentucky.
