US Bank: US Bank in Waunakee hosts free document secure shredding

WAUNAKEE, Wis. (May 15, 2014) – U.S. Bank in Waunakee, Wis., is offering free document secure shredding services for its customers and all Village residents. People are invited to the shredding event which takes place from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the U.S. Bank drive-up located at 200 S. Century Ave. In addition, U.S. Bank will collect donated canned food from customers and residents who would like to assist the Waunakee Food Pantry.

“Shredding documents is one effective way to help prevent identity theft. People are invited to bring a maximum of four boxes of paper medical, insurance and business records, cancelled checks, bank statements and personal confidential records for shredding,” said Jeffrey Butts, branch manager for
U.S. Bank in Waunakee. “Recall Mobile Shredding will be on-site, and people are welcome to watch their items being shredded.”

All shredded material will be recycled.
