Building to also serve as Community Gathering Place
DEPERE, WIS. (Nov. 14, 2014) – Starry Realty, LLC, unveiled today its newly renovated office in one of downtown De Pere’s most recognizable buildings – perhaps best known previously as A’s Dockside – at 112 N. Broadway.
Rich Starry purchased the historic 1888 building with big plans in mind to not only use the space for Starry Realty, but to open the building up to community organizations as a centralized gathering space for everything from small meetings to benefit concerts and other charity events.
With this in mind, The Starry Team has worked to preserve and restore the original character of the building, while adding up-to-date amenities to make the building a welcoming space as part of their vision and philosophy of “bringing real estate back to Main Street.”
As part of that philosophy, a new “Starry Nights” music series featuring different benefit concerts to raise money to help support local charities will soon be introduced to the community. This more unique concept of incorporating charity work and community meeting space and gathering opportunities into day-to-day business operations is what sets The Starry’s apart from other area businesses.
“We are so excited to share the beauty of this meticulously restored 126-year-old building with the community on an everyday basis,” Rich Starry said. “Our hope is as we work to make the building a centralized hub, as well as a space for neighbors to meet; we’ll also be strengthening the community and helping with the vibrancy in downtown.”
As for the real estate side of their business, The Starry Team will continue to focus on their strong ties to the area, assisting area residents and newcomers with the home-selling and buying process – all with a very personalized touch.
