DE PERE,WIS.: For the eleventh straight year, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has awarded St. Norbert College the Superior Merit Award for the student chapter’s achievements and a commitment to providing meaningful programs and services.
Approximately 20 St. Norbert College students are involved in the chapter, which is led by adviser Matthew Stollak, associate professor of business administration at the college.
The chapter provides students with a springboard toward future HR careers, offering educational programs, networking opportunities and service to De Pere and surrounding communities.
St. Norbert College’s SHRM also earned the Outstanding Chapter award in 2012-2013, for their work on crowdsourcing speakers for meetings, and was named a Top 10 Chapter in 2006-2007.
