DE PERE, WIS.: St. Norbert College Language Services will hold the following events in July for the general public:
Fresh Herbs Cooking Classes: Monday, July 14, and Monday, July 21, 5-8 p.m. at the YWCA, 230 South Madison St., Green Bay. Participants will learn new uses and preservation techniques for fresh herbs that are easy to grow. Sue Beno, who brings years of cooking experience to the table, will lead the workshop.
The cost is $70 per person, which includes instruction and food and materials for both classes. Register by July 7.
High-Speed Rail Around the World: Wednesday, July 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the National Railroad Museum, 2285 South Broadway, Green Bay.
National Railroad Museum education director Bob Lettenberger will explore the history and economic and social impacts of high-speed rail. The cost is $15.
