APPLETON, WIS. (Oct. 20, 2014) – The Radisson Paper Valley Hotel (RPVH) has announced that Senior Sales Manager Anna Anderson has received the prestigious MPI Supplier of the Year Award, presented annually by the Meeting Professionals International – Wisconsin Chapter (MPI – WI).

Anderson, who carries the globally recognized Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) designation for excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition and event industry, received the award at the 2014 MPI – WI Gala event, recently held in Oshkosh, WI.

To be considered for award recognition, recipients must be nominated by their peers for the honor. Additionally, recipients must meet MPI – WI Chapter criteria, which includes: a minimum of three consecutive years of chapter membership; service as a team member, team chair or board member; community service and prior professional recognition; as well as demonstrated dedication, commitment and involvement in the meetings industry.

Nomination forms are then reviewed by the MPI –WI Awards Committee and one award recipient is chosen based on committee recommendations and a final chapter membership vote. Recipients also must not have been selected to receive the honor within the past five years.

Anderson first joined the RPVH team nearly 13 years ago, and is currently responsible for a variety of sales-related duties and goals, including: sales leads, completion of detailed proposals and contract negotiation in her role as senior sales manager.

“Being selected as an award recipient is a true honor,” Anderson said. “This award is not only an individual recognition, but a positive reflection by MPI –WI of the hotel and its support of my involvement in the MPI organization. It is also recognition of the talented team of professionals I work with every day who help me to offer the best experience possible to hotel guests, making this an award I am proud to share with my team.”
