Milwaukee, May 6, 2014 – Milwaukee-based investment consulting firm Perry Capital Management, Inc. announced a new name for the firm and the addition of veteran financial advisers Kathy Klein, CFP®, as Senior Consultant and LeAnne Foster, CPA, as Consultant. The company is now named Park Place Capital Management, Inc.

“The name change is an expression of our deeper bench strength,” said Bill Perry, President, who founded the firm in 1985. “My goal is to further expand our organization so we can continue to serve our clients for many years to come. Kathy is an ideal addition, bringing 25 years’ experience and a holistic approach to portfolio management consulting. LeAnne’s expertise in tax and experience working with business owners on their unique financial challenges further extends our in-house capabilities.”

The company takes its new name from its longtime location within the Park Place office complex near Good Hope Rd. and Highway 45. Currently, its consultants advise clients on the management of approximately $1 billion, a figure that is growing rapidly with Klein and Foster’s addition to the firm.

Only the company’s name is changing; no services or business relationships are affected, including the firm’s status as a founding member of Callan Inc.’s Independent Adviser Group which provides clients with access to resources, fee schedules, and money managers often unavailable to individual investors.

“My move to Park Place Capital Management allows me to bring institutional-quality resources and investment programs to clients,” said Klein. “Many individual investors are nearing retirement, are in the early stages of retirement, have sold a business, or have sophisticated wealth and tax management needs. Clients need a broad-based approach to address these factors and market conditions.”

Foster said, “Our role is to assist individuals/business owners in managing risks as they transition the financial value of their life’s work into more diversified resources that can become a legacy for a family or charity.”

Under Park Place Capital Management’s business model, the firm’s consultants delegate security selection to carefully vetted third-party institutional money managers on a cost-effective basis. This allows them to focus on goals-based advice. “Given higher stakes, as clients age and new tax and market disruptions threaten their wealth, both high net worth and institutional investors are increasingly seeking downside protection,” said Perry.
